BOO! Campus TV is powered by a world-class browser-based broadcast system developed in Switzerland, where content and advertising can be controlled and distributed remotely for brand advertisers. At each university, key locations have been identified to place the digital screens – of which the largest is 3.5 metres x 4 metres. The screens will be positioned in areas with high student traffic, such as food courts, dining halls, student centres, libraries and lecture hall entrances.

Campus media solutions offer an exciting challenge

My role as GM of student media at BOO! is the implementation of the Media Transformation Project — a national student media solution — at every university we sign with. A large part of my focus has been on the implementation of BOO! Campus TV, one of our media solutions at universities, where we install multiple screens across campus that simultaneously stream university content, youth-relevant entertainment content and advertising.

As a young female I had to find my authentic self and learn to speak up when I have a better idea or don't agree with something. The respect I've gained has been worth it. BOO! installs large LED screen at Park Corner

The screen, which was activated in November, is a giant 4m x 12m landscape shaped billboard with a high visibility P16 screen. It serves as a digital advertising platform that can be seen by up to 1.9 million cars per month that drive down Jan Smuts Avenue.
